Watercolors

This is a watercolor background with acrylic deer in the foreground. The Doe and Fawn are the same animal from two pictures I took at a bed-and-breakfast in Quantico, Virginia. The Fawn Is a reduced copy of the Doe with white spots added. The scene is a family of deer where the buck is looking back at his family. The buck is drawn from a picture I found online.

Seashells

These seashells were collected in Sarasota, Florida on June 19, 2025, on a free day during a service trip I did with my church. They were the inspiration for this multimedia watercolor painting. I painted the snail and three seashells, and then glued on the other five seashells.

These two watercolor paintings were inspired by the vase of flowers!

This is my first watercolor. It’s a small 5”x7” original freehand painting. Watercolor painting is much different than oil or acrylic painting and I’d like to work on this technique a little more. Completed during the Summer Art Charcuterie Mini Session with Allison Frink.
